MyMentor

Wesfarmers Resources is committed to attracting women to employment within our business as well as the professional development of women currently within the business.

Female employees have the opportunity to participate in the self-paced MyMentor development program with the more senior and professional roles having also participated in a mentoring program, where each member of our executive team and selected managers were assigned a mentee.

While the foundation of the program is the MyMentor development topics, the regular mentoring conversations have focused on career development, individual goals and specific issues mentees wished to address.

More women in the Wesfarmers Resources workforce will:

  • provide us with a larger talent pool and help address labour shortages;
  • enhance the work experience for women;
  • enhance the work experience for all – reflecting the dynamics of communities and families;
  • enable us to retain and attract women of talent; and
  • enable us to be more competitive through greater innovation and performance.
