The coal interests of Wesfarmers Resources comprise:

• the Curragh mine in Queensland’s Bowen Basin (coking coal for export markets and steam coal for domestic markets)
• the Premier Coal mine at Collie in Western Australia’s south-west (steam coal for the domestic market)
• a 40 per cent interest in the Bengalla mine in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales (steam coal for both export and domestic markets).
